Hello and welcome to our Webpage! =)
My name is Mariana and I'm in love with felines since I can remember! I love all felines, big, small, short haired, long haired ones. I had my first cat like most people did, adopting a small and poor female kitten which was almost dead harassed by dogs in the street. She was only 2/3 weeks old and needed a lot of contention and medical attention before she was ok... (and I must say also a big bath, after what I discovered she was not gray as I supposed, but white and gray).
This kitten, called Cleopatra, was the responsible of showing me the cats world, and how much a cat has to offer to their owners. After a while a also adopted a black cat son of a Siamese cat (his father was probably a street cat but who knows..) which was not accepted by the Siamese family. His name is Benito, and both gave me great moments to remember and helped me loving cats as no other pet.
But I've been always a passionate for leopards. This is why the first time I saw a Bengal cat I deeply fall in love with this breed, and started researching about them.
Caffre Cattery is the first cattery in Cordoba, Argentina, registered in AFA, the Argentine Feline Association, with registration number 596 at AFA & FiFe.
Having a Bengal is like having a leopard who behaves as a cat. Their perfect balance between beauty & wild aspect, and their sweet and excellent temper, make them an irresistible pet to have at home.
I decided to start my cattery in 2005, when I was looking for catteries in Argentina to learn and know more about having a couple of these kittens.
After our first couple, Antibes and Paica, our love for Bengals could only ask us for more!
Caffre Cattery's mission is to expand this breed in Cordoba Argentina, where they don't know much about these beautiful cats, and keep growing and learning, while enjoying the company of these unconditional friends.
